We are looking for a Network Optimisation Controller on behalf of our client based in Dublin. As Network Optimisation Controller you will manage all aspects of the demand and supply planning process in the most cost effective way while optimising customer service offering, warehousing and shipping while ensuring the cost effective delivery of all inbound and outbound logistics. Responsibilities. Identify and implement appropriate routes to customers through 3PL or direct from site to ensure customer requirements are met. Responsible for reviewing performance management KPI’s and identifying further opportunities, evaluating them, engaging with business stakeholders and project management of deploying solution. Responsible for the sourcing and tendering of 3PL service providers. On-going review and optimisation of networks to reduce cost to serve. Effective project management including relevant PID’s, master schedules, action plans and communication plans etc… Developing and maintaining SLA documents. Travel required (50% UK 50% Ireland. Requirements. Qualification to a min 3 rd level in an associated SC discipline. Experience in warehouse and distribution management. Experience of a multi temperature supply chain within a consumer goods environment. Has a high level of experience in commercial negotiations with strategic partners. Highly skilled in Microsoft packages such as Excel, Power-point and Microsoft Project. Must have a high level knowledge/experience in working with ERP based systems, Warehouse Management Systems etc. Must have the ability to manage, coach and develop people. Have good understanding of the wider environmental challenges and opportunities (carbon footprint etc.). Must be a strong communicator. Have the ability to build and maintain excellent working relationships. Understands Total Cost of Ownership and the linkages / impact between costs. Has strong communication and interpersonal skills. Self-motivated and driven to meet strategic goals. Experience in change management, ability to challenge ways of working to get to optimal business solution. Effective project management to deliver on business goals. Demonstrates sound business acumen. Demonstrates clear understanding of key SC cost drivers and optimisation approaches.
