Overall Purpose: Reporting to teh Supply Chain Manager, the Warehouse Team Member will be responsible for the GMP Warehouse and Maintenance Repairs and Operations (MRO) store activities for the Athlone manufacturing site. This is an important role for a start-up site as the systems of work need to be built from the bottom up while the Warehouse Team Member works with Aerie supply chain personnel, Raw Material suppliers and external service providers to ensure the timely availability of materials and services required to support plant qualification and commercialisation. Essential Duties, Functions and Responsibilities: Complies with all site Environmental, Health and Safety requirements training, and regulations. Drive continuous improvement through monitoring and assessment of appropriate KPIs, and ensure compliance of the warehouse function with applicable company policies, procedures and regulatory requirements (e.g., SOX, cGMP, GDP, HSE. Support quality investigations to ensure timely and effective closure of investigations impacting on the function and where appropriate implement timely corrective actions. Participate in regular one-to-one meetings and yearly appraisals. Supports technology transfer and product launch activity as Warehouse subject matter expert with responsibility for maintaining/updating relevant SOPs. Receive in raw material, check all documentation against packing slips and receive into Inventory Management systems. Ensure all incoming shipments are promptly received, segregated and stored properly. Complete shipping documentation for imports and exports and monitor all daily domestic and international shipments, both ambient and temperature controlled. Skills/Knowledge Required: Solid business acumen with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong organizational skill set. Demonstrated ability to fully realize improvement initiatives. Demonstrated successes in a team environment, such as project teams and continuous improvement teams. Ability to work positively with supply chain colleagues in the interest of the site and organisation. Appreciation of the different challenges of start-up and subsequent commercialisation of a new pharmaceutical manufacturing facility. English – fluent. Counter balance / Reach Truck Licence. Education Required : Degree or 3rd level qualification (Science, Engineering, Business, Supply Chain. Desirable evidence of Continuous Professional Development. APICS or other supply Chain related qualification. Experience Required: 5+ Warehouse Team Member experience in a multinational manufacturing organisation. Experience of Inventory Management solutions used within global manufacturing organisations. Ideally, experience working in a start-up environment and therefore in establishing Warehouse and MRO systems.
