Description

Challenging new Maintenance Manager position now available for an experienced leader with a start-up manufacturing operation. All applicants must have industry experience within the biologics sector. You will have been involved with leading establishing preventative maintenance plans across the facility and will need to demonstrate ownership for delivering engineering and maintenance improvement projects. The Position. Reporting into the head of Engineering you will manage a team of maintenance and utilities staff. Plan the integration of all assets onto the CMMS platform including establishing a robust PM plan across the facility. Design and implement a robust preventative maintenance schedule to sustain equipment used in bio-processing both upstream and downstream. Support production operations through optimising equipment performance by ensuring SOP's are adhered to. Coordinate all maintenance scheduling for the site to reduce potential down-time and support the efficient and effective delivery of production operations. Analyse current equipment and identify potential upgrades; justifying where required return on spend to improve the overall optimisation of the plant. Take ownership over projects to improve productivity and streamline equipment and machinery. Work closely with stakeholders to advise on best practice around plant optimisation and capital projects. Manage both the engineering and capital budgets for the site. Develop the competencies of the engineering and maintenance team. The Person. All applicants must have a minimum of 7 years' experience within a biologics manufacturing site. Exposure to preventative maintenance planning, project management, commissioning and running capital equipment projects. Experience leading technical teams in the past. Proven ability managing a CMMS. Budget management and experience reporting to leadership on delivery and expenditure. Demonstrate when you have managed process improvement projects.
