Web Content and Tech Support Associate. • Qualification : Leaving Cert +, Bachelor’s Degree a plus. • Location: Duleek, Co. You will do this by being part of launching new websites and improving our existing web presence. Current web projects in progress include: • Corporate website showcasing the complete business solutions we offer. You will work closely with our web team and assist with the above projects. The successful candidate will receive full training in our products and systems. Your ability to learn quickly as you work will be an advantage. The position is permanent and full time with 5 days per week, from 9am to 5:30pm Mon-Fri. Start date as soon as possible. Description. The position will include but will not be limited to: • Writing compelling sales copy to inform potential customers about our products and services. This will involve working directly with the sales team for advice and feedback. • Using text, images, video and calls to action to influence web users to make the next step in the sales process - buy online, fill out a contact form or call the sales team. • Researching new products and services by reaching out directly to suppliers (by phone and email) and through online research. This will give you the information need to create new content creation and to improve existing content. • Assisting in creating technical documents including online how-to guides and user manuals. • Assisting the web team in setting up all aspects of new Wordpress and Woocommerce sites based around products and services you will have researched. • Becoming fully trained in our EPOS and App solutions and assisting the support team by providing support by phone or email when needed. Your Skills and Experience. The ideal candidate will have the following skills: Required Skills and Experience • An excellent command of the English language as well as the ability to write sales copy in a compelling and persuasive manner. • Demonstrate in your cover letter your ability to stay motivated and use initiative while working by yourself. • Good email, phone and in person communication skills are essential - you will be working with sales and web team as well as getting information from external sources such as suppliers. • Ability to research products and business areas and use this information to help us develop the business. • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy essential. • Knowledge of Wordpress/Woocommerce content management, ux builder and basic plugin setup and theme customisation. • At least 1 year’s experience in web content, design or similar. Advantageous Skills and Experience • Familiarity with Google Drive a plus. • Familiarity and passion for SAAS products/services a plus. • Good understanding of HTML and CSS a plus. • Knowledge of javascript or frontend scripting framework a plus. • Knowledge of photo and image editing software such as Photoshop and Illustrator a plus. • Bachelor’s Degree a plus. Your First Six Months with Memotech. Examples of what you will have achieved in the first 6 months working with us: • You will have an in-depth technical understanding of our all of products and services and have researched new products, services and suppliers. • You will have a full understanding of creating Wordpress content and design of pages using UX builder. • You will have improved our POS App Wordpress site with new content and improving conversion rate. • You will have arranged for hardware to be delivered to us, tested it with our POS App, photographed and prepared screenshots of set up steps and used this to create a detailed support document for our website. • You will have worked closely with our web team to launch and customise a Wordpress/Woocommece site based around your research in a product/service area. This will include text, image and video content, theme customisation, layout, calls to action, etc. • You will have helped the web team launch an Adwords campaign and improve and tweak existing campaigns. • Training will be provided where needed to the successful candidate to help them achieve the above goals. Employee Selection Process. • Shortlisted candidates will be selected from applicants based on the above criteria. • You will be notified by email of shortlisting and we will schedule a 10 minute phone interview. • We conduct a 30-60 minute interview in person with the successful candidates. This will include a short practical test of your technical ability. • Successful candidate will join our team for a paid half day of work before confirmation of hire. Job Type: Full-time. Salary: €22,000.00 to €25,000.00 /year.
