Inside Hardware Sales. Our client, a provider of timber products to building materials and DIY Stores is seeking to hire an Inside Hardware Sales person. The ideal candidate will have sales administration, order processing experience and knowledge of dealing with hardware and/or building merchants. The role will involvecarrying out all multi-functional aspects of administration within the sales office. A high level of customer care is essential, with the ability to work independently in a busy sales office. Hours of Work: 8.30 – 5.15 p.m. Monday to Thursday, 8.30 – 4.00 pm Friday. Key Responsibilities: Dealing with customer enquiries as received by telephone, fax or email. Inputting of Sales Orders on a daily basis, delivery dockets for that day’s orders on our Profile System. This is a daily priority. Preparation of Delivery dockets & labels and Delivery Manifests for Warehouse Staff in am and lunchtime pick up. Ensuring that POD requests are dealt with the same day. Responding to all customer queries and requested for technical information. Maintaining our customer relationship management system for your own customers/interaction with them. Preparing quotes for customers. Inputting orders into Parcel and pallet logistics. Inputting purchase orders. Preparation of company leaflet packs for CPDs, etc. Sending out information packs to clients as requested. Maintaining records of quotes and projects and following up on both and ensuring they are on CRM. Other duties may include: Travelling with the team to external events.
