What you need to know. You will work as R&D Engineer for our client, a highly successful manufacturing company in their Longford facility. This is a permanent job with an excellent salary and growth potential for the right candidate. Your new job. Key duties & responsibilities: Responsible for the design and development of new advancements in product line. Work as part of the R&D team on the development of new products. Research materials, source and test for ongoing and future projects. Co-ordination of internal testing reports, bio-compatibility testing reports & technical file development. Liaise with project leads to understand project development. Provide technical support to various teams. Participating in design reviews and the compilation of associated documentation. What are we looking for? Degree in a Science or Engineering Discipline with focus on Polymers/Chemistry. 2-3 years working in a medical device environment preferable. Knowledge of ISO 13485 Design Control requirements essential. Desirable. Experience with validation processes from sterilization to packaging. Knowledgeable of the medical device manufacturing process. Ambitious with ability to take initiative on projects. Team player who communicates effectively across all departments.
