Our global client is based in Co Meath; easily commutable from Cavan, Part of Monaghan, Mullingar and surrounds. They are inviting applicants for a Mechanical Design Applications Engineer to join their team for a permanent role. Prior knowledge of ASME/BPE engineering design standards will be highly regarded. What will you be doing in this job? You will act as the mid point between the sales engineers and the mechanical design team. You will be managing all steps of the process in terms of client requirement briefs, request for quotations right through to the hand over to design team. Other key areas include product management, project management support, training and administrative support. Domestic travel is a must with some international travel for training and development. What will this job do for you? This role will bring you into a more customer facing aspect of mechanical design. You will be working with a company that are offering progressive solutions in terms of bioengineering and vessel products. Are you the ideal candidate? Prior experience in a technical design role or a mechanical design engineer with 5 years plus experience within sanitary vessels or pharmaceutical process equipment. Degree Qualified.
