Job Description. Heat Merchants Group is one of the largest suppliers of heating, plumbing, tiles and sanitary ware to the trade and retail markets in Ireland. 100% Irish owned with 43 branches nationwide. Overall purpose of role: The post holder will be responsible for ensuring the correct product and pricing data is applied to the product file, and is visible to the branch network. You will also be responsible for the maintenance of customer terms and creating and sending weekly and monthly analysis reports. Multiple systems used on a daily basis to extract and review data. JOB SPECIFICATION. Updating and maintaining product file. Setting up of new products on the system. Analyzing supplier price files and implementing appropriate changes. Updating and maintaining customer terms. Liaising with Product Managers, Branch Managers and Suppliers. Address queries in a timely and professional manner. Ensuring that the correct information is maintained and updated on CORE. Providing Data Analysis to various sectors of the business. Adherence to health, safety and environmental rules and regulations. Any other duties as reasonably requested by management. The following criteria will be used in the selection process. Only those applicants who clearly meet the essential criteria from their application will be shortlisted for interview. Essential. · Intermediate/ Advanced user of Excel including experience of using Excel for reporting and analysis purposes. · Experience of using ERP packages. · Excellent attention to detail. · Analytical and logical thinker. · Ability to work as part of a team and independently when required. · Excellent communication skills and time management skills. Desirable. · Previous experience gained in same a similar role. · Experience of CORE ERP system. · Product knowledge in areas such as heating, plumbing, tile or sanitary ware.
