Automation/Controls Engineer. Role Location: Co Meath. Role Type: Permanent. This is a great role for someone that has 3-5 years experience and that is looking to join a solid established company. Prior experience within pharma, manufacturing or water treatment will be highly regarded. The remit of this work is split across program development and service issues in relation to the client plus travel domestically to customer face regarding programs/issues etc. Is this role for you? This role is suited to a PLC, Automation or Computer Engineer who has a strong demonstrable PLC programming background, strong interpersonal skills and can also demonstrate excellent skills in problem solving and analysis with a keen eye for PLC coding. It would also suit a field services engineer from utilities or telemetry sector that has completed additional education and wants to get into more of the automation/controls design work. The major part of this role requires PLC programming with front end SCADA development. In order to meet the requirements of this role you must have the right to work in Ireland plus a full valid Irish or EU driving license. Technical Must Have. Minimum of 3 years demonstrable experience in PLC solutions with a min of 2 of the following (Schneider, Allen Bradley, Siemens, Omron, Mitsubishi or Motorola. Demonstrable experience in controls systems design and application. SCADA - Ignition, Citect, InTouch or similar. Knowledge of all Microsoft office applications.
