International Group located in Meath are seeking a Risk Analyst to lead an Internal Control project. This is a newly created position due to a systems implementation. Initially an eighteen month contract with view for extension and permanency. The ideal candidate will be Degree Qualified with experience working in a risk, internal controls or a related area. The Risk Analyst will work closely with the Risk Manager and Chief Risk Officer and will be responsible for the following activities; Develop and Implement the Company's internal control framework including process narratives, process maps and risk and control matrix. Work closely with departments to identify process and control improvements. Review and challenge departmental procedures and controls and issue control and process improvement recommendations. Present the results of departmental risk and control reviews and control testing to senior management and the Risk Committee. Monitor departmental progress against process and control improvement recommendations. Update and maintain the Company's risk and control matrix on an ongoing basis. Provide internal control training to all staff. Contribute to the development and analysis of operational risk scenario analyses and stress tests.
