Technical Sales. Role Type: Permanent. Sector: Bioengineering/Pharmaceutical Equipment. Our global client is based in Co Meath; easily commutable from Cavan, Part of Monaghan, Mullingar and surrounds. They are inviting applicants for a Technical Sales Engineer to join their team for a permanent role. Key Responsibilities. Applications/Sales Support Provide technical advice to Sales for external sales opportunities and to client personnel for internal systems projects. Support Sales as a technical expert in meetings with potential customers. Train Sales and internal personnel as appropriate on product capabilities and differentiation. Provide budgetary and firm Proposals to internal and to external customers. Review customer Requests for Proposals/Quotations (RFP's/RFQ's. Provide scope to client Project Management group for estimating. Provide proposal technical and commercial content. Review external purchase orders/contracts. Recommend acceptance of orders if technically and commercially acceptable. Provide technical content for marketing tools (presentations, brochures, website content, etc.) for effective communication of product features, benefits, and differentiation. Product Management Identify and drive new product and product improvement opportunities. Support new product launches by providing marketing content, training Sales, and interfacing directly with potential customers. Project Management Support Define vessel scope for accurate estimating and scheduling. Advise on vessel scope as needed during the project to ensure that what was sold is what is delivered. Support Project Management on changes to scope, including technical definition, costing, and pricing. Support Project Management as a technical expert with customer communications as needed. Administrative Functions Support corporate initiatives. Support and participate in safety procedures and initiatives. Support quality process and initiatives.
