Location. This role will be based in Athlone, Westmeath. Your Job Purpose. Working with the LotusWorks team as a Maintenance Engineer, you will provide technical support to maintenance and wider engineering group by providing leadership on the resolution of issues in line with site commercial and development objectives. Responsibilities. Ensure the reliable and safe operation of installed operating infrastructure and support the introduction of new facilities, equipment and utilities. Monitoring and implementing strategies to ensure department Key Performance Metrics are met and are focussed on promoting a self- directed high-performance culture. Represent the department during internal, customer and external (HPRA, FDA) audits. Ensure EHSS and Quality compliance including leading investigations, developing and implementing Corrective and Preventive Actions and monitoring and close out of Change Control Actions. Use Lean Six Sigma and other operational excellence tools to drive improvement. Support the development of Engineering Standards and ensure that aspects that impact the lifecycle cost of assets (Reliability, Engineering) are incorporated into the Standards. Review of qualification documentation. Support the operation and improvement of the Computerised Maintenance Management System. Use the competency framework model to drive improvement and accountability. Keep abreast of industry and regulatory standards and best practice as they apply to maintenance department and drive knowledge transfer and Continual Professional Development within the maintenance group. Collaborate with other departments as required to assist in the safe, efficient and compliant operation of the site. Act as a single point of contact for the maintenance department as necessary. Requirements. Third level qualification in a Science or Engineering Discipline (to level 8 or higher) with. Minimum 7 years relevant experience working in a similar environment. Experience of mechanical / electrical engineering, reliability centred maintenance and operation of maintenance systems. Strong technical and project management skills. Demonstrated track record in generating technical options to resolve problems, prioritising solutions, selecting optimal solutions and implementing decisions in the pharmaceutical industry. Benefits.
