Role Purpose:You will be tasked with working as a hands on General Operative in the construction, erection, repair and modification of precast concrete structures, on a day to day basis, in a very busy and demanding manufacturing environment. Working as part of the operations team in the factory, undertaking all duties as directed by their manager/supervisor. You will play a key role in production, storage, cleaning, Health & Safety, Quality and all other tasks as directed by management. This role will involve working to challenging production targets and a good work ethic is required. The role may also involve in working for extended periods of time in various weather elements in a noisy and/or dusty environment. Required: Proven experience and ability to work as part. of a team. Experience working in a manufacturing facility, working with concrete, precast concreate and/or construction would be a significant advantage. Early starting times. Carpentry, steel fixing experience desirable. Good communication skills – written English & Verbal English. Experience in reading and understanding design plans and measurements and ability to read & understand policies and procedures. Any current and up to date tickets – Safepass, forklift, abrasive wheels etc. Must have own transport. PPS and own bank account desirable. Job Type: Full-time.
