OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE JOB. Based in our newly refurbished showroom in Tubs and Tiles,Athlone you will have the opportunity to develop and demonstrate your selling and customer service skills in a busy showroom environment. As a key member of the team you will be responsible for driving sales within the business and achieving sales targets, you will strive to understand customer needs and meet expectations and will assist the Branch Manager with the day to day running of the business. JOB SPECIFICATION. Respond to sales enquiries either by phone or direct with customers, provide advice, information, quotations and ensure maximum level of sales and margin. Offer alternative products, promote own brands, promote cross brand sales. Negotiate prices with customer within set boundaries. Understand customer’s expectations and needs. Keep customers updated on orders and deliveries. Monitor customer orders and deliveries. Resolve order and delivery issues, and take responsibility. Responsibility for loading/unloading vehicles. Adhere to Company policies and procedures. Any other duties as reasonably requested by Management. The following criteria will be used in the selection process. Only those applicants who meet the essential criteria will be shortlisted for interview. The Company reserves the right to initially shortlist those candidates who meet both essential and desirable criteria. Essential. High End Retail Sales Experience i.e. Car Sales, White Goods, Furniture Sales. Friendly & Engaging personality. Sales Driven. Must be extremely customer focused and results driven. Desirable.
