What you need to know. You will work as a Legal Compliance Manager for our client, a highly successful and well-established Food Manufacturing company in Co. Galway . As the Legal Compliance Manager , you will ensure our company adheres to legal standards and in-house policies. You will be responsible for enforcing regulations in all aspects and levels of business as well as provide guidance on compliance matters and all aspects of Safety, Quality and Legality. This is a 12 month initial contract with excellent opportunities for the role becoming permanent. Your new job. Key duties & responsibilities: Oversee control systems to deal with violations of legal guidelines and internal policies. Revise procedures and reports to identify hidden risks or non-conformity issues. Manage recipe review and approval processes. Ensure company management system is maintained and up to date. Carry out regulatory checks i.e. Additive levels and Pack Claims. Be responsible for Pack Copy creation i.e. Ø Nutritional information. Ø Marketing wording. Ø Product Name. Ø Ingredient Declaration. Ø GDA’s. Ø Allergen information. Manage customer systems including – Zoom, Prestige Evision,Bord Bia etc. Ensure labelling is in-line with the products. What are we looking for? 3rd Level Degree in Quality/Regulatory Affairs or Science related discipline. At least 3-5 years’ work experience ideally in the food industry. In-depth knowledge of the industry’s standards and regulations. Methodical and diligent with outstanding planning abilities.
