Overall purpose of role: As a key member of the HR Team you will be responsible for managing the search for talent, the end to end recruitment process including on-boarding and assisting with staff development programmes with a view to creating a talent pipeline for the Group. Key Responsibilities: Manage the sourcing of external candidates, both active and passive, for dedicated vacancies and potential future staffing needs. Utilise a variety of recruitment methods including LinkedIn, Rezoomo, recruitment agencies, Universities, networking, referrals etc. Liaise with hiring managers to develop a job and person specification that accurately reflects the position. Ensure all talent searches and advertisements strongly reflect the Heat Merchants Group employer brand and seek input / support from the Marketing Department when necessary. Manage the recruitment and selection and on-boarding process from end to end including all associated administration. Utilise the recruitment software / applicant tracking system for screening and communicating with candidates ensuring a positive candidate experience by liaising with them in a timely manner through all stages of the recruitment process. Develop strong relationships with hiring managers to ensure you have a sound understanding of their business area and the key skills to hire for. Preparing interview files for the interview panel including adequate copies of applications and interview questions. Assist in the interview process for a variety of positions. Champion recruitment practices that are cost effective, impactful and strengthen Heat Merchants Group’s social media presence to attract the right talent to the organisation. Develop and manage the preferred supplier list for recruitment agencies and head-hunters and monitor their performance as a supplier. Monitor the turnaround time to fill vacancies and endeavour to keep time to a minimum. Monitor staff turnover assessing length of service for new hires. Assist with the organisation and delivery of Induction programmes including the organisation of initial mandatory health & safety training. Support the HR Team in the design and delivery of internal training programmes as and when required. Organise training such as mandatory Health & Safety courses, ensuring no lapse in certification, and new staff training programmes in conjunction with product suppliers. Take responsibility for training attendance and feedback forms being issued and collected. Analyse training feedback information and highlight any issues to HR Director. Actively participate as a member of the HR team, taking on some broader projects and tasks. Dealing with telephone queries from Managers and branch network. Adhere to Company policies and procedures. PERSON SPECIFICATION. The following criteria will be used in the selection process. Only those applicants who meet the essential criteria will be shortlisted for interview. The Company reserves the right to initially shortlist those candidates who meet both essential and desirable criteria. Essential: 2 + years recruitment and sourcing experience, gained either in an in-house or agency environment. 3rd level business related qualification. Ability to demonstrate a successful track record in candidate sourcing and managing recruitment campaigns. Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Excellent organization and administrative skills. Previous experience delivering presentations. A good level of proficiency in Microsoft word, power point and excel. Possess a high level of attention to detail. Excellent communication skills, interpersonal and teamwork skills. Ability to observe discretion and confidentiality at all times. Possess a full clean valid driving license. Desirable: Experience in the design and delivery of internal training programmes. Similar experience gained in a busy HR Department.
