Packaging Team Leader The packaging team leader will lead a team of manufacturing operators and technicians to support equipment qualification and lead commercialization of a pharmaceutical manufacturing facility. Packaging operations involve high speed packaging of sterile liquids and finished packaging include labelling, cartoning, bundling, case packing and palletisation. This will be a key leadership role within the organisation. Essential Duties, Functions and Responsibilities: Leads the packaging area and the manufacture of products in accordance with the production schedule, BOM’s and finished product specifications. Monitors and reports on key area performance metrics across safety, quality, delivery and cost. Leads the recruitment, training and performance management of the members of the Packaging team. Lead the design of the operational systems required to ensure packaging meets the performance requirements of the site across safety, quality, delivery and cost. Representing site packaging interests in NPI, Quality and other projects. Supports Validation, Operations, Engineering and other teams as required. Skills/Knowledge Required: Strong knowledge of finished product packaging operations and track record leading in a high volume regulated environment. Strong leader of operations personnel with direct supervision experience. Education Required : Bachelor’s Degree in Science/Manufacturing/Engineering or equivalent. Experience Required: 8+ years relevant experience in a pharmaceutical manufacturing or similar environment with at least 3+ in a supervision/leadership capacity.
