What you need to know. You will work as a Toolmaker for our client, a highly successful manufacturing company based in Kildare. This is a permanent role. Key Responsibilities. Repair and maintain all high-precision moulds, to include Multi-cavity moulds, Hot Runner moulds; Valve-gated moulds; Stack moulds. Compile standard specifications/procedures/records for each mould and monitor all existing moulds to standard specifications. Fit and assemble parts to make, repair, or modify dies, jigs, gauges, and tools, using machine tools and hand tools. Work with Production and Engineering teams in troubleshooting mould problems. Carry out Tool builds. Support initial Tool trials and validations, etc. Support Tool changes where required. Ensure highest Quality & Compliance standards, participating and complying with the Quality Management System. Identify and generate opportunities for improvement and actively participate in the implementation of corrective action plans and continuous improvement initiatives. Comply with all company policies and procedures, including quality requirements, financial controls, health and safety regulations, etc. What are we looking for. Qualified Toolmaker by trade. Good knowledge of milling, turning, grinding, sparking and fitting. Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics would be an advantage. Ability to weld is desirable.
