Radio Support Engineer. Role Location: Meath. Role Type: Permanent. The role of the Radio Support Engineer is a key position within the organisation by ensuring the technical validity and ongoing support of proposed and existing solutions of licensed radio solutions to my clients customer base nationwide. The role is mixture of office and field based work. My client is successfully involved in the provision of telemetry, radio and scada solutions to leading companies in Ireland. Responsibilities: Solution Design. Preparation and evaluation of technical responses to RFP & PRQ proposals. Submit and track all ComReg applications. Work with ComReg and Operations team to resolve issues related to solution design. Demonstrate/Present product roadmaps/technical solutions succinctly to customers. Provide the principle point of pre-sales technical assistance to the assigned customer base. Ensure that project deliverables are clearly defined, and agreed with the customer at the initiation phase of the project and translated correctly to the Project Office. Maintain and continually update technical understanding of products and provide training to other team members where necessary. Perform pre-sale technical support duties, including product configuration and troubleshooting of customer issues. Identify the minimum list of service spares that should be held in stock. Identify a process to review the spares stock level and requirements based on the actual install base. Perform technical support duties, including product configuration and troubleshooting of customer issues. Installation of PMR products and solutions to a very high level of quality. Technical Skills. Minimum of 12 Months experience of Licensed Radio deployment and Design in a commercial environment. Third level degree course in Telecommunications or Electronics .
