Project Manager. This is a great opportunity to progress and work within a multinational company based in the midlands. You will be responsible for the commercial & tactical operational mgt. of contract manufacturing partners & finished goods suppliers to ensure product availability. Main Responsibilities: Ensure product availability from manufacturing partners to meet business needs. Manage & partner with suppliers to develop business relationships that deliver effective operational control to agreed service levels. Manages & negotiates contractual terms as necessary with suppliers to assure long term stability of supply & cost effectiveness. Plan, support & implement projects with suppliers & key internal partner organizations to drive effective supply, cost control & timeline compliance. You will: Liaise with suppliers to ensure stability of the supply chain, develop & implement risk mgt. processes to ensure no risk of supply. Negotiate contractual terms with suppliers & conduct pricing reviews & cost reduction projects to drive (TCO. Support strategic projects including RFP/RFQ process for new & existing business programs with 3rd party suppliers. Ensure suppliers achieve set KPI's & SLA's weekly & product availability through ongoing mgt. of the supply base, risk assessments & contracts. Engage & develop continuous S/C improvement practices to support the continued focus on delivering improved value & service levels. Conducts supplier landscaping activities, develops selection criteria to support new supplier identification & evaluation to ensure selection of qualified sources for new product & manufacturing needs. Establishes supplier benchmarking processes & contributes to business reviews to drive & improve supplier performance. Engages with key stakeholders Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, Finance, Franchise team, Regulatory, etc. to ensure timely delivery of business projects. You will have: Min 7 years' exp in a 3rd party S/C mgt. environment. Experience in managing & developing supplier relationships & contract negotiation. Ba/Bsc in Business, Procurement, S/C Mgt. Skills: of annualised standard cost settings, pricing, & cost out programs. Understanding of Compliance requirements & (GMP) & validation/Regulatory expectations. Working knowledge of Quality Systems (FDA/ISO) within a regulated environment. Ability to interpret engineering drawings/specifications/familiarity with contract terms & conditions, statements of work. Competent user of MS Office tools [Access, Excel, Project, Word, and PowerPoint]. Excellent interpersonal & communication skills. Strong leadership, decision-making & problem solving skills.
