What you need to know. You will work as a Lab Support Manager for our client, a highly successful and continuously growing pharmaceutical company in Co. Westmeath . As the Lab Support Manager , you will be responsible for managing a team Engineers & Scientists who provide support to various analytical groups. This is a permanent job. Your new job. Key duties & responsibilities: Lead the team on instrumentation support projects. Manage support activities and projects for various teams including QA, QC and analytical labs. Coordinate maintenance testing on equipment and ensure they are following correct procedures. Review calibration records. Track equipment schedules. Update equipment SOP’s. Provide equipment training to analysts. What are we looking for? 3rd Level Degree in a Scientific discipline. At least 4-5 years’ work experience in a laboratory/pharmaceutical environment. Understanding of various guidelines i.e. GMP, FDA, ICH etc. Be proficient in MS Office particularly Excel and Word. Time and Project management skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and work well as part of a team. Ability in technical writing and communication skills. Have previous experience in mentoring staff.
