Qualified Management Accountant. Location: Co Meath. Salary: €45-65K neg DOE. Our client, leading manufacturer of special purpose equipment supplying the automotive, electronic, medical device and other manufacturing industries is seeking to hire a Qualified Management Accountant . This is a new role as the company move to bring their finance function back in-house. The role will involve producing management accounts, reporting, budgeting and forecasting. You will work closely with the companies’ parent company at their EU Headquarters and with local management. Required Skills & Experience: Qualified Accountant with min 3 years post-qualification experience. Industry based experience preferred, but not essential. Fully computer literate - strong Ms Excel skills and experience using accounting, payroll and reporting tools. Highly self-motivated with proven demonstrated experience working independently and taking ownership of a finance function. Duties : Working closely with Parent Company & Local Management to produce required Financial & Management information. Preparation and monitoring of Annual & Monthly Budgets (including analysis of variances between forecast and actual results. Preparation of Monthly Management Accounts & Reports (including required reconciliations. Preparation of Annual Statutory Financial Statements. Liaising with both Internal and External Auditors. Ensuring compliance with reporting requirements of Revenue and other state bodies. Supervision of 1 staff member. Providing Financial Input into improvements aimed at improving Production Efficiency. Supporting other departments as required.
