Our client is a well-established firm of Chartered Accountants offering audit and accounting services. They are currently looking for a number of qualified and part-qualified Accountants to join their team in Mullingar. This is the ideal role for accounting professionals with either an ACA, ACCA or CPA designation or a qualification that is currently in progress to take on a new challenge with a highly successful two-partner firm. Based in a modern office, our client offers a supportive, professional environment that is the ideal place for an aspiring accountant to learn or a dedicated professional to take their next step and engage in a new challenge. As an Accountant, you will take on a role that is appropriate to your experience level and service the needs of a portfolio of clients under the direction of a Manager or Partner. Preparing annual financial statements for a portfolio of clients, you will prepare and file income and corporation tax returns and audit financial statements. As a Qualified Accountant, you will be responsible for the supervision and management of audit and accounting staff. For more junior candidates, you will have the chance to work as part of audit and accounting teams with the firm supporting you to gain professional qualifications with appropriate study leave. The firm is involved with a wide array of finance matters including tax planning, insolvency and debt resolution advice, corporate restructuring, general business and financial advice, as well as pension and investment advice. They are registered auditors in addition to being a registered insolvency practitioner. Interested? To be considered as a Qualified Accountant, you’ll need: - To be ACA, ACCA or CPA qualified with at least two years’ post-qualified experience of working in a practice. - To be fully competent in all client service areas. - Experience of working in a team environment with good interpersonal skills and an ability to work to deadlines. - Excellent numerical and analytical skills with the ability to present findings and recommendations in a clear and concise manner. - A strong client focus and attention to detail. To be considered as a Part-Qualified Accountant, you’ll need to be studying for an accounting or taxation qualification with the desire to broaden your experience whilst you complete your studies.
