An opportunity has come up to join a highly reputable organization within the Homeless sector of Ireland. A service manager is required to lead an emergency service supporting families in crisis. You will lead the management and development of the service, providing the highest level of care to those in need. Responsibilities: Operation and Management of an emergency service. Developing policies and procedures for the organisation. Lead the admission of families and over-see their movement into long term accommodation over a period. Ensure positive progression for service users following through on case management plans. Improve the integrity and dignity of service users by facilitating, developing and implementing participation and development initiatives. Engage with stakeholders to identify and pursue different partnerships to help benefit the service. Managing budgets, using resources effectively. Initiate opportunities to improve cost efficiency and effectiveness. Drive quality standards within services through quality systems and structures, ensuring continuous improvement, particularly in the areas of new initiatives, team development, systems implementation and benchmark against best practice standards. Review and audit regularly, changing as required when new evidence becomes available. Requirements: Minimum level 7 degree in Social Care/ psychology/ youth work/ community development/ counselling. 3 years experience ideally working within the Homeless sector or a strong social care background.
