Service Refrigeration Engineer. Industrial or Commercial. Role Base Preferred: Meath: Louth: Westmeath or Laois. My client is a global engineering company with a worldwide workforce of 18k. They are involved with a number of engineering solutions within the dairy, brewery and industrial refrigeration sectors. Main Purpose of the Job. To provide service and maintenance functions on industrial refrigeration systems. To carry out service & maintenance functions on industrial / large commercial refrigeration systems on our clients sites. To become a proactive team member working with other engineers. To liaise with other engineers, regions and departments ensuring clear communication flow and providing assistance where appropriate. To liase with customers, engineers, administration staff, management and other team members ensuring timely responses to all enquiries. To prioritise own workload, when appropriate, to enable maximum efficiency, within the framework of existing systems and procedures. To partake in a standby rota for out of hour service calls and emergency callouts, including weekends and all Bank Holidays. To provide support to other Service regions, company departments and divisions as required. Any other duties required by the Service Manager and Regional Manager. Key Qualities Required. Extensive knowledge of industrial, commercial & air conditioning systems utilising all types of refrigerants. Highly efficient in establishing/maintaining, and implementing, a range of systems to support planning and co-ordination. Must be highly disciplined with excellent time-management skills. Ability to work to tight deadlines under pressure, at the same time maintaining a high degree of quality and accuracy. Needs to work on own initiative without unnecessary referral. Flexible - able to cope with a variety of demands, and to work with individuals at all levels. High-level interpersonal skills - able to communicate with people on all levels - must be a 'team player'. Must be confidential and discrete in all circumstances. Clean, current driving licence - essential. To undertake mechanical duties, including faultfinding, rectification works, service and maintenance functions when required. To provide support to other team members in all disciplines associated with our company profile and client requirements. Ability to undertake basic research. Ability to work on own initiative. Strong organisational and administration skills. Attention to detail. Personal Qualities/Attributes. Good interpersonal skills, with a self-confident approach and flexible attitude to the job role.
