Junior Site Engineer Our clients are looking for a full-time civil site engineer to join their team in North Leinster road-surfacing division. The Employer. The company is a leading supplier of a range of construction products including concrete, paving supplies and asphalt and road surfacing. The Job. Our client is looking for a civil site engineer with the ability to work both on-site and off-site while managing the on-site labourers and sub-contractors, carrying out surface tests and taking samples of materials being used. The ideal candidate should also be well able to complete accurate assessments of contract progress and ensure the completion of targeted outcomes, while maintaining daily site diary detailing labour and machinery on site and being fully compliant with Company Health & Safety policies, procedures, systems and rules. What You Need to Have To Succeed. The need a third level qualification in engineering or construction, 0-5 years post graduate experience , and a knowledge of and interest in surfacing works, bituminous paving and road construction. What You Need to Be To Succeed. A Doer: The ideal candidate should thrive in a high paced, goal driven environment, have an eagerness to learn and approach all tasks with a ‘can-do’ attitude and a strong work ethic. A People Person: You should be a team player, with effective written and verbal communication skills and a confidence in presentation. An Organiser: The ideal candidate should be well organised, have strong IT, time management and administration skills, and be a reliable and professional individual. What You Get.
