EHS Manager - Maternity Contract Athlone

My client is a manufacturing organisation based in Athlone. They are seeking to hire an EHS Manager for a maternity contract. Key Responsibilities - Making changes to working practices that are safe and comply with legislation. Preparing health and safety strategies and developing internal policy. Carrying out risks assessments and considering how risks could be reduced. Carrying out regular site inspections to check policies and procedures are being properly implemented. Keeping records of inspections findings and producing reports that suggest improvements. Keeping records of incidents and producing stats to managers. Ensuring the safe installation of equipment. Managing and liaising with the County Council on the Air Emissions Licence. Provide training - induction, refresher and manual handling training as required. Working knowledge of ISO: 14001/ ISO: 45001. Essential Criteria - Third level degree in H&S Management or similar. 2/3 years in a Manufacturing environment. This is a Monday - Friday position, 8am-5pm based on-site in Athlone, offering a competitive salary and 24 days AL.
