Java Software Engineer. Java Software Engineer involved in both transformation and building new services to be offered to customers. Our client is looking for team players who wants to be part of this challenging project working in a high-performance Agile Engineering team. Main Duties / Responsibilities. On a day to day basis you will be creating, modifying and testing code. Work with agile methodology and handle issues in a manner that complies with the way of working and java design guidelines set out by the Product Owner, Scrum Master and the client. Bring your own experience and ideas to the development process and you will be responsible for developing high-quality java code in an agile environment. Requirements. A 3rd level degree in Computer Science / IT or related discipline. Minimum 1 years' experience working with Java and Web Services including REST. Object oriented analysis & design experience. Debugs applications to find the root cause of issues. Experience working with Junit, JMeter, Maven, ANT, GIT, SVN, BitBucket, Jenkins etc. Experience with Front-end Web Technologies like JavaScript OR AngularJS. Knowledge in developing scalable and highly available software. Knowledge in building cloud native applications. Knowledge of CI/CD.
