Key Responsibilities of the Grocery Assistant Manager Job: Assisting the Store Manager in achieving the store targets, managing costs, etc. Ensuring the store is kept to high standards at all times. Reporting directly to the Store Manager. Taking full control of the shop on a daily basis. Ensuring all staff members are engaged and motivated. Scheduling for the store including management of peak times. Requirements for this Grocery Assistant Manager Job : You will have experience working in a busy grocery shop with a fresh food department. Excellent attention to detail required. Must be confident managing a similar team. Ambitious and tenacious personality. Excellent communication skills.
