Timber / Hardware - Internal Sales. Co. Meath. Permanent. €negotiable depending on experience. NB - Timber and or hardware sales essential for this role. Efficiently carry out all multi-functional aspects of administration within the sales office. A high level of customer care is essential, with the ability to work independently in a busy sales office. Ability to develop new business, upsell and cross sell with existing customers. Key Responsibilities: Dealing with customer enquiries as received by telephone, fax or email. Inputting of Sales Orders on a daily basis, delivery dockets for that day’s orders on the internal system. This is a daily priority. Preparation of delivery dockets & labels and delivery manifests for warehouse staff for a.m. or lunchtime pick up. Ensuring that POD requests are dealt with the same day. Responsibility for ensuring that all customer queries via, website, email, info@ are acknowledged and responded to or disseminated to the appropriate person for a more comprehensive/technical response. Maintaining our customer relationship management system for your own customers/interaction with them. Preparing quotes for customers on the same day, and ensuring that the customer is kept updated if waiting for haulage quotes, etc. Inputting orders into parcel and pallet logistics. Inputting purchase orders onto the system. Preparation of company leaflet packs for CPDs, etc. Sending out information packs to clients as requested. Maintaining records of quotes and projects and following up on both and ensuring they are on CRM. Other duties may include: Travelling with the team to external events.
