What you need to know. You will work as a Management Accountant for our client, a highly successful and ambitious manufacturing company in Co. Offaly . As Management Accountant you will be responsible for the costing activities within the plant along with other financial activities. You will work alongside the finance team and report into the Financial Controller. This is a permanent job. The salary is €50K + benefits . Your new job. Key duties & responsibilities: Developing and maintaining the standard cost system for current and new products. Product Costing. Calculation of standards at Annual Budgets and Forecasts. Calculation of Operating Standards with Manufacturing. Monitoring of Direct Labour Variance & Material Usage Variance. Advise management on costs effects and pricing on special orders. Ensuring all controls are implemented and adhered to. Reconciliation of Raw Material, WIP, and Finished Goods Inventory. Evaluating cost reduction initiatives. Capital Expenditure Reporting. Responsible for inventory control. Preparation of Forecasts/Budgets. Other general accounting duties as required. What are we looking for? Qualified CIMA/ACCA/ACA 3 years plus experience in a manufacturing company preferably mulit-national. Must be highly motivated, capable of working on own initiative. Excellent organisational and communication skills. Desirable. Proficient in MS Office, Excel & ERP system utilisation preferably Oracle. SOX controls. Project Management experience.
