Our client is a successful research and testing organisation, offering a range of services including footwear testing and personal protective equipment (PPE) certification and testing. They are now looking for a Certification Assessor to join them in Bracetown Business Park, Clonee. As a Certification Assessor, you’ll help to deliver our client’s PPE certification and testing services. Personal protective equipment (PPE) is an important layer of defence against daily hazards encountered during work or leisure activities. Liaising with customers, you’ll gain a strong understanding of performance standards, assess technical documentation and prepare certificates for various types of PPE against European, international and national standards. You’ll provide customers with quotations and explain the requirements of the examination and certification process in a clear, concise manner. Additionally, you’ll occasionally be required to travel to attend external meetings. About You. To be considered as a Certification Assessor, you’ll need: - At least one year’s experience in a scientific, manufacturing or supply chain role. - A Leaving Certificate, with a speciality in science. - Excellent communication skills. - Good planning and prioritisation abilities. Other companies may call this role PPE Certification Assessor, Junior Certification Assessor, Certification Co-ordinator, Assessment Co-ordinator, Trainee Assessor, Assessor or Junior PPE Assessor.
