Description

My client, a leading manufacturer of Medical Devices is seeking to hire a Senior Accounts Assistant (advanced excel skills required - excel test will be involved) on a 9-month contract basis. Your new role will involve - Prepare and submit bi-monthly Revenue Bill of Discharge returns. Extract source inventory data from Oracle ERP system. Categorise data into different subsets e.g. Irish/non Irish, Import / Free circulation. Submit Bill of Discharge returns to Revenue via Revenue online portal. Responsible for consolidating bi-weekly and monthly payroll reports (approx.. 360 employees) and submit to 3rd Party payroll provider and process payroll journals. Responsible for payroll analytics. Ensuring correct deductions, BIK, pensions. Partner with HR department for any employee changes or updates. Responsible for monthly & annual revenue returns incl. Internal & External Audit payroll requests. Responsible for completing payroll-related CSO requests. Provide support to our AP department and inputting of invoices. Processing employee credit card expense claims on a timely basis. Monthly credit card reconciliation and credit card expense accruals. Manage new credit card requests and respond to employee queries as required. Provide statistics on processing of credit card expenses. Education: Accounting Technician or equivalent . Experience: Three (3) years experience in a similar background. Skills: Excellent Excel skills in the area of consolidating data, maintaining audit trail as data is categorized, reconciling data and presentation of information. Experience in Oracle Mfg modules will be an advantage. Excellent analytical, written and verbal communication skills, with strong people skills. Proven excellence in PC skills with the ability to present summary data, of key issues to management, through Powerpoint. Capable of working on own initiative, and meeting tight deadlines. Ability to carry out responsibilities to the highest standards ensuring compliance with all financial policies and procedures.
