Projects and Modifications Engineer - County Meath. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the role is a principle lead with responsibility for taking a wide range of mechanical, structural, civil and process related projects from initial idea to handover of a fully compliant and completed package. Projects may include new process introduction, regulatory compliance and safety improvements, major plant overhauls, profit improvement and cost reduction initiatives. Role responsibilities: • Work with plant management to agree a project scope. • Develop and agree a design with the project sponsor and ensure it complies with the project scope and with company standards. • Prepare a cost analysis and budget. • Source equipment, resources and contractors to complete works in a Lean manner. • Manage all works on site related to the project, to deliver on time and within budget. • Liaise with plant operations to ensure minimum disruption to the plant while projects are being implemented. • Provide a fully commissioned projects and handover a package of drawings, safety file, training and process controls to the business owners. • Mentor and coach your team. Interested applicants should have: • Minimum 5 years’ experience in project management role in an industrial environment. • Degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical or Chemical engineering. • Extensive knowledge of technical equipment, systems, and documentation. • Demonstrate concern for people, safety and the environment. • A strong competence in planning and organising within a working environment. • Customer orientated. • Able to work on own initiative.
