The Council has a workforce of approximately 570 and a revenue budget of €100.6million for 2023.   An opportunity now exists in Westmeath County Council for the position of Senior Engineer in Westmeath’s National Roads Office.   The Senior Engineer, National Roads Office is a specialist role at senior management level that will manage and lead the design office including overseeing its staffing, its facilities and training. The Senior Engineer will ensure the office is operated in an efficient and effective manner, managing the delivery of an annual programme of works in accordance with the “Revised Arrangements between the National Roads Authority (Transport Infrastructure Ireland) and the Local Authorities Concerning National Road Offices and Project Offices” of the relevant National Roads Office.
